Welcome Fr. Alex!
Rev. Alex Ansu Ebo was ordained in 1990 by the late Most Rev. James Kwadwo Owusu. He is from the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani in Ghana. After ordination, Fr. Alex was assigned to work at St. Paul’s Parish as associate Pastor for two years and then taught in St. James Minor Seminary for a year. He went to study Economics and came back to St. James Seminary again from 2000 to present.
Fr. Alex has spent the past twenty-three years in administration. The greater of his priestly ministry has been in administration than pastoral. He has been the Rector of St. James Seminary since 2003.

Join the Liturgy Committee for the annual Advent Retreat on Sunday, December 5th, at 3 p.m. The retreat topic will be on Advent Meditations with Saint Joseph. The retreat will be held at St. Matthew Church.

Christmas Jesus Socks Donations
Once again, we will be collecting “Jesus Socks” for the homeless. Donations of new socks for both Men & Women are needed as well as toiletries. The "Jesus Socks" will be delivered to Midnight Run. Donations should be returned to the boxes in the rear of the churches by December 19th.
Parish Christmas Concert - December 19th
Following our very successful virtual event last year, St. Matthew & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish is proud to present our second annual Christmas concert with parish musicians Alice Smyth and Danny Gray. The concert with traditional Christmas carols and contemporary songs will take place on December 19th at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew Church.
Parish Bible Study Returns
Join St. Matthew-OLPH Parish as our Bible Study returns for the first time since the pandemic. This 10-week study will focus on the topic of "Jesus: The Way, the Truth and the Life." As in the past, we will be using the study program developed by Ascension Press. The first session will be on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 3 p.m. in the basement of OLPH Church.
