THANK YOU to all who donated!

The Prayer Shawl Ministry collected 2 and a half trash bags full of handmade, new or gently used hats, scarves, gloves and mittens for the homeless! Everything was donated to the Blackstone Valley Emergency Shelter in Whitinsville, and anything extra will be shared with the similar program in Milford. Thank you all for your generosity!

The mission of the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St Denis is to provide hope, comfort, and healing. Our shawls, lap afghans and chemo caps are a symbolic “hug” from God. We work to bring together people who are gifted with God’s given talent of knitting and crocheting to create prayer shawls and other items of comfort that will be given away to help spread the message of God’s mercy, love, and compassion.

We welcome new members with open arms and hearts — regardless of skill level. If you can knit or crochet, or if you would like to learn, we would love to have you join us!
