This evening, January 5 at the 5:30 PM Mass we will observe a Service of Light. The church will be darkened and everyone who is present will be invited to hold a lighted candle from the beginning of Mass until after the proclamation of the Gospel.

It is appropriate to hold lighted candles during the Mass in these days following the Epiphany when we celebrate and continue to reflect upon the light of the holy star that continues to enlighten our souls with spiritual grace.
