Dear Friends, Happy Epiphany!
Today is the day when we remember the journey of the Magi to bring their gifts to Christ.
The Season of Epiphany is also a traditional time for Home Blessings, and we‘ve had a fun recent tradition of doing this at St Mark’s.
I would LOVE to be able to bless every home in our parish throughout the next few weeks, and I would be more than pleased to also bless the home of a friend or family member as well.
Please use this sign-up to indicate that you’d like a home blessing, and when the best times in the week might be for you. Or, if you prefer, you may call, email, or text me personally. I imagine I’ll be doing these throughout the month of January.
I’ve set up a brief blessing that is designed to be done at the door of your home. It will include time for prayer for anything that is on your hearts, or anything that you’ll be facing in the upcoming year.
I’m not going to be entering your homes for the blessing—as I don’t want to be the “Typhoid Mary,” spreading COVID throughout the parish! When we get past this current wave I’d love to come and have a cup of coffee in your home, but I don’t think that would be prudent at this time.
So, let the blessings begin!!
