Here at This Table
Janèt Sullivan Whitaker/Max Whitaker
Refrain
Come and be filled here at this table.
Food for all who hunger
and drink for all who thirst.
Drink of his love, wine of salvation.
You shall live forever in Jesus Christ the Lord.
1. You who labor for justice,
you who labor for peace,
you who steady the plow
in the field of the Lord,
2. You with lives full of pain,
you who sorrow and weep,
you, beloved of Christ,
come to him, come to him!
3. Children of ev’ry color
in ev’ry land,
you are his own,
he gathers you gently.
Don’t you grow weary,
for when you run,
you run with the Lord!
4. You, the aged among us,
holy, faithful and wise,
may the wisdom you share
form our lives and our world!
5. Let each woman and man
learn from the stranger;
we’re not so diff’rent
and so much unites us.
For we are one,
blest with the Spirit
and the power of love!

PRESENTATION AND PREPARATION OF THE GIFTS
Many and Great
Ricky Manalo CSP
1. Many and great are bearers of the Word:
the Christ speaks; the heart seeks.
Gathered as one, we listen to the Word
and share the meal of new birth.
Refrain
The wheat grows from springtime to fall;
the wine flows; in Christ we recall
the sharing of our lives
with one and all.
2. Many and great are the seeds upon the field:
the hand sows; the seeds grow.
Take now and eat the covenant fulfilled
the bread of promise and life.
3. Many and great are voices of despair:
the rain falls; the voice calls.
Take now and drink the wine of hope and care;
our cup of blessings we share.
4. Many and great are pebbles in the sand:
the sun glows; the wind blows.
Take now and spread the Word to ev’ry land,
the Word of goodness and hope.

God’s Holy Gifts
Dan Schutte
Refrain
God’s holy gifts for God’s holy people;
come now to share the banquet of Christ.
Feed on his love with faith and thanksgiving.
Know in your heart that he died for you.
1. May the Body of Christ
be food for our souls
and bring us to everlasting life.
2. May the Blood of the Lord
protect us from harm
and mark us as God’s beloved ones.
3. As the grain of this bread
was gathered as one,
may we who believe be bound by love.
4. As the cup that we share
is emptied for all,
may we offer up our lives in love.
5. When we eat of this bread
and drink of this cup,
we hold in our mem’ry Christ the Lord.

Now Thank We All Our God
NUN DANKET/Johann Crüger
1. Now thank we all our God
With heart, and hands, and voices,
Who wondrous things hath done,
In whom his world rejoices;
Who, from our mother's arms
Hath blessed us on our way
With countless gifts of love,
And still is ours today.
2. O may this gracious God
Through all our life be near us!
With ever joyful hearts
And blessed peace to cheer us;
Preserve us in his grace,
And guide us in distress,
And free us from all sin,
Till heaven we possess.
3. All praise and thanks to God
The Father now be given,
The Son, and Spirit blest,
Who reigns in highest heaven,
Eternal, Triune God,
Whom earth and heav’n adore;
For thus it was, is now,
And shall be, evermore.
