Dear Parishioners,
Mass Attendance
Omicron has prompted many people to stay home. We had 87 fewer people in our church for Sunday Mass than last weekend.

Omicron Update
More of my mother's relatives have tested positive. We're well over 10% of 100 people in the last few weeks. Fortunately, they've all been mild cases. My sister Theresa is back at work today. Some people do have serious cases. Just about all of us have experienced some disruption in our routines because of this surge.
Abortion Bill
Our state representatives have replied to parishioners saying that they will vote against the abortion bill being voted on today in Trenton. I'm not sure what the rest of the state senate and assembly will do. Please continue to pray for an end to abortion and greater respect for all human life from conception until natural death.
Repent
In today's Gospel, we hear Jesus say that we should repent and believe in the Gospel. I'll be in the confessional from 2-4 PM and 6-7 PM. We'll have a holy hour with confessions on Friday at 3 PM.
More Calendars
I new batch of parish calendars arrived today.
God love you,
Fr. Jim
