Hello everyone!
This Sunday is our Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Reflection and Service. This year, we'll be talking about what is called the Escalation of Hate--how simple actions like talking to and about people in negative ways, when left unchecked, can escalate into things like discrimination, segreation, slavery, genocide, or other human rights abuses. We'll explore Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream and Jesus' example of loving people without reservations and how we can create a culture of radical love in today's divided world. We'll do this with activities, games, and videos, and we'll end the night with a service project!
