Hello, friends!
This weekend brings to a close our anniversary year. It's been a great year of celebration, even despite COVID regulations and restrictions. You can see pictures of many of our anniversary events on our parish website: Photo Albums (olp-parish.org).
Sunday is the last day to sign up for OLP 101. This is a great opportunity to learn about the past, present and future of our parish - and to enjoy a delicious FREE brunch! See details below.
Middle school AND high school youth ministry will both meet on Sunday from 6-8pm. Middle school (for grades 6 & 7) will meet in the school. High school (for grades 8-12) will meet at Immaculate Conception in Marian Hall.
As Catholics, we are proud and honored to be pro-life! You're invited to join the Knights of Columbus on Monday, January 17 at 7pm for Vespers with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in prayer for the unborn and a culture of life.
Finally, our parish office and school will be closed Monday to observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Now, perhaps more than ever, it's important for us to reflect on his legacy and continue to strive for his vision "to make justice a reality to all of God’s children."
Under the Protection of Our Lady of Peace,
Fr. Dooley
