This weekend you'll notice we have a new cover for the bulletin since we are combining the bulletin for Christ the King and Saint Thomas the Apostle! We hope this new format will improve communications and foster unity between us and our sister parish. It is still a work in progress. Join us on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. for an engaging presentation, friendly conversation, and refreshments. Metanoia, which means a "transformative change of heart," will inspire you to encounter Jesus more deeply, discover what it means to live as a disciple, and follow the path of spiritual growth. Women's Day of Recollection Date Change
The Women’s Day of Recollection has been postponed to March 12. If you are still interested in signing up, please contact Mary Jo Mayhan at 614-235-7465 or stop by the parish office.
Parish Office Closing
The parish offices will be closed this Monday, January 17, for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. We are pleased to honor this American hero with the rest of our country.
Bishop Griffin Resource Center Drive
The Bishop Griffin Resource Center will have another “Donation Drive Thru” next week. Donations can be brought to the center on Saturday, January 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Needed items include: baby wipes, deodorant, lotion, and toilet paper. No clothing or household items will be accepted at this time.
Men, have you tried That Man is You yet?
A new season of That Man is You (TMIY) has just begun. All men are invited, no matter where they are in your journey. Each Saturday, starting at 7:30 a.m. Men gather at Christ the King to enjoy breakfast, an engaging presentation, and friendly discussion.
The Parish Sub and Tamale Sale is Back!
Just in time for the Super Bowl! Prepaid order forms must be returned to the church office or after Mass before Tuesday, February 1st with cash or check (payable to Christ the King Church). Pick up will be in the church parking lot on Saturday, February 12th.
