Our Spring semester of That Man Is You! begins on February 3, 2022. The theme for this year is The Vision of Man Fully Alive.
The 13 week Spring semester meets Thursday Mornings from 6 am to 7:30 am in Saint Kilian Church Hall. If you are up extra early, a brief Communion Service is held in Church at 5:45 am!
We start the morning at 6 am with time for coffee, pastries and socializing followed by opening prayer and remarks. Together we watch the week's TMIY Video which lasts 30-40 minutes. We conclude with an opportunity for small group discussion and closing comments. Consider joining other men from our parishes.

Respect Life Prayer Service
Friday, January 21, 2022, after the 9:00 am Mass
Holy Sepulcher/Saint Kilian Parish is having a Respect Life Prayer Service on Friday, January 21st, after the 9:00 am Mass at the Holy Sepulcher Church (the same day that the MARCH FOR LIFE is being held in Washington D.C.). For those of us who cannot travel to the MARCH FOR LIFE, this is a chance to pray together here at home.
- Bring your families, bring your rosary.
- We encourage all in attendance to wear a mask while in the building (2 years old and over)
- Do not attend if you are sick
Holy Sepulcher and Saint Kilian Parishes will not have a bus to the March for Life this year. If you would like to travel to the March for Life on January 21 in Washington, D.C., these 3 buses will be going from Butler County:
- All Saints Parish, bus leaving from St. Conrad’s in Meridian. Bus will also stop at Holy Sepulcher at 6:15am if there are passengers that want to board Bus Captain: Ray Ferguson: 724-833-8042
- St. Francis Assisi Parish, bus leaving from St. Mary's in Herman, Bus Captain: Cecelia Love: 724-822-0614

BOOK CLUB

Parents and Guardians, please remember to keep your eyes on your inbox for Faith Formation information updates during the global pandemic. We ask for your continued patience and flexibility as we monitor evolving guidelines and mandates.
Special Needs and Traditional Sunday morning Faith Formation sessions resume this weekend at Saint Kilian! Please remember that masks are MANDATORY. Be sure that your child has his or her mask before leaving the house and prior to getting out of the car. Our programs rely on volunteers who serve as catechists, aides, substitutes, and mentors. Volunteer shortages on a week to week basis may necessitate the cancellation of individual onsite classes on a case-by-case basis. Should your child’s class be cancelled, you will be notified via Flocknote. These messages will include information about making up the session at home! ALWAYS check for messages prior to leaving the home on Sunday mornings. If a single class is cancelled due to a volunteer shortage, that does not mean that all classes have been cancelled. Please be attentive to the message specifics.
In the event of severe weather at any time during the Faith Formation year, please know that should classes need to be cancelled (they will never simply be delayed), you will be notified immediately when the decision is made via Flocknote email AND text message. As we move into the typically more severe winter weather weeks and months that lie ahead, be sure that these communications are not blocked or directed to your spam or junk folder. Aways check for them in those folders prior to leaving home on Faith Formation days if the weather is questionable. Additionally, notification will be sent to local news agencies for broadcast, but Flocknote communications will be the most timely. Any cancellation will most likely result in needing to make up the lesson at home with your child. Stay safe!
CONFIRMATION YEAR 2 STUDENTS: No date has been set for Confirmation at this time. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, parents please oversee the submission of the needed sponsor forms and other paperwork requested for this sacrament. All Confirmation questions and submissions should be sent to Andrea Wheeler, our grouping Confirmation Coordinator, at awheeler@saintkilian.org (both parishes). Please add her to your contacts or safe sender list so that you receive future communications in a timely manner.

Holy Sepulcher Catholic School is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Cafeteria/Food Service position. Responsibilities include cooking and serving meals to Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students. We are looking for someone to work Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm, five days a week.

In the month of December, through your gifts, the Saint Kilian Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to assist 189 families at the Food Pantry and provide $2,321.86 for utilities, rent and transportation.

Currently, the Kilian Cupboard is in need of your help with food and pantry donations. Donations can be put in the cart inside Saint Kilian Church. At Holy Sepulcher, donations can be put into the bin located in the coat room. All non-perishable items are appreciated.

*NEW* Protecting God’s Children renewal
The diocese has implemented a renewal for all who have taken the “Protecting God’s Children” as part of the clearances process. In the past, this training was done as a live class on parish grounds. The renewal process will now be done as an online video class. Instructions were sent out from the diocese; for help with this renewal please contact Jo Scheller at jscheller@holysepulcher.org or jscheller@saintkilian.org
