Greetings St. Augustine Family,
Today we celebrate the Second Sunday of Ordinary Time. The readings reveal the transformative effect God has upon the world and our lives. Isaiah prophesies that God will transform his people from being called, “Forsaken” to being called “My Delight”! St. Paul extols the gifts of the Holy Spirit; the same Spirit who adopts us into God’s family and anoints us for mission. In the Gospel, Jesus turns a moment of crisis into an opportunity to reveal his glory when he turns water into wine. What do you do in times of crisis? Let us learn from the example of the unnamed couple at the wedding in Cana. By inviting Jesus to their wedding, a disaster was averted. Imagine what happens when we invite the same Jesus into our hearts!

Come join us for Episode 4 of The Chosen, 'The Rock On Which It Is Built', on Friday, January 21 at 7pm in the School Cafeteria. After the viewing we will share our personal reactions and testimonies to inspire each other to grow in a deeper appreciation and understanding of our identity and mission as children of God.
Note: We do ask that all attendees be fully vaccinated and wear masks and that anyone awaiting the results of a COVID test confirm a negative result before attending in person.
