BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER UPDATE
As you have likely heard, Cornell will be staggering student arrivals and starting the Spring semester off with two weeks of virtual learning. Due to University restrictions, and the fact that we do not own any of our worship spaces on campus, we will not be able to celebrate Mass on campus until after February 7th. Our first weekday Mass at Anabel Taylor will thus be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Our first Sunday Mass on at Sage Chapel will be celebrated on Sunday, Feb. 13. For those who will be attending Mass at the parishes on Sunday, Jan. 30 and Sunday, Feb. 5, Fr. Dan will be a guest celebrant at the 10:30 AM Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, downtown.
SPRING 2022 MASS SCHEDULE
This Spring, we will be celebrating Mass at the following times and locations:
- Tuesdays, 12:10 PM at Anabel Taylor Hall Chapel
- Wednesdays, 5:15 PM at Anabel Taylor Hall Chapel followed by Wednesday night dinners (covid situation permitting)
- Fridays, 12:10 PM at Anabel Taylor Hall Chapel
We hope this schedule will make weekly Mass accessible to more of the community: if you can't make the Wednesday evening Mass, there are two lunch-time ones during the week! This Mass schedule will start up after the University has cleared having gatherings on campus—this will likely be starting Feb. 7th. Please check our calendar on the website for the most up-to-date schedule; updates will also be contained in the weekly Flocknote.
This semester we would like to bring back beloved community events such as the Wednesday Night Dinner. We are hoping that the covid situation and University regulations will allow us to do so. Updates will appear on Flocknote as the semester gets under way.
