CORAM Inglés Básico/Basic English Adult ESL Update and Changes
Effective immediately we will not have classes at STM.CORAM Inglés Básico/Basic English Adult ESL will NOT have class at STM next Tuesday 1/25. We are taking a 3 week break. We will restart Coram ESL on MONDAY, February 7 at OLR with a 6:30-8:30 pm class time. That’s correct. Date, time, and location are changing. The need for the class was so great that by week TWO (2), yes week two, we had drastically outgrown our space at STM! Week 1 we had 48 adults in class and by week 2 we had grown to over 60! The OLR school building will allow us to provide 3 different levels of English instruction. The classroom environment will be quieter and more conducive to learning and relationship building. Moving the classes to Monday nights gives everyone the opportunity to attend WWPR region level events (which occur on Tuesday night) such as the upcoming Cannon Law Series and School of Faith Lenten Series. The later start time will also make it easier for families to arrive after work. Effective immediately we will not have classes at STM.
Beginning MONDAY February 7, 2022 CORAM Inglés Básico/Basic English Adult ESL will restart at the OLR school building. Improvements/changes include…
- Monday night class at OLR
- New class start time 6:30-8:30pm
- 3 levels of English will be offered with weekly topic specific lessons
- At this time advanced registration is still not required for adults attending English class
- There will still be a room for school age kids to do homework/play games quietly
- There will be two rooms for young children (a nursery and a preschool room)
- Masks will be required for all adults & school age children
We still need an army of SafeParish trained volunteers to make these classes a success. If you would like to volunteer or know someone who would like to help, please don’t hesitate to share the signup genius link with them.

Canon Law for Parishioners
Talk Two
Tuesday, January 25, 7:00 pm
in Our Lady of the Rosary Church
Fr. Chris Geiger
Canon Law and the Parish: Rights & Responsibilities
(Talk One with Fr. Moss can be found on the OLR YouTube webpage)
As we approach the implementation of Beacons of Light, it is more important than ever that the faithful understand the law of the Church. The better we understand who we ARE as a parish, the better we can follow Our Lord in what we
DO as a parish. With that in mind, the WWPR invites you to participate in the last of two talks on canon law and the parish. Fr. Chris Geiger, on faculty at Mt.
St. Mary’s of the West, our local seminary, will present relevant information on Canon Law that can benefit us in our Mission as a Catholic community.
