Dear Parishioners,
What a way to begin the New Year! Consider it a gift. If you were home-bound yesterday, I hope you used it as an opportunity to spend some meaningful time with your family. If your family is elsewhere, I hope you used it to recuperate energy to face the elements today. This weekend we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, another one of the Feast Days of the Christmas Season.
Don't close the book on Christmas just yet. Keep it alive at home and in your heart.
Making a Difference
Have you made your resolutions? Is our church part of them? It's not too late. Pick up one of the bulletins at Mass this weekend, and take some time to think about who might need some help from the Church, and review the list of ways you can make a difference to the Parish.
DE-Decorating the Church
Next weekend we will begin the process of taking down our Christmas decorations. With any luck, the temperatures will rise... above zero. The Church will be heated, and we will treat you to something to keep you warm on the inside, as well as the outside. Be here, Saturday, January 13 at 10AM.
The REP
Cold weather doesn't keep the Holy Spirit from making His rounds, and beginning this month, He is going to be working over-time preparing our Confirmandi and First Holy Communicants to receive their Sacraments. As all of our children continue to grow in the Faith, please keep them, their Catechists and their parents, in your prayers.
