The Epiphany of Our Lord
The feast of the Epiphany celebrates the many ways that Christ has made Himself known to the world.
While the visit of the Magi is emphasized, Epiphany is not only about three wise men-- it is about the plan of God for the entire human race.
Every man and woman should seek the One the Magi sought and, like them, surrender all to Him. Every person will find meaning in life by being open to God.
St. Luke's celebrates the birth of Our Lord and keeps Him in our hearts all year long.
The Magi recognized Jesus as King of the Jews by bringing precious gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. These meaningful gifts were not only appropriate for a King, but suited to honor God.
