Our Safe Environment lessons are scheduled to be taught in class the week of February 1st. Due to the sensitive nature of the material in these lessons, you do have the option to keep your child(ren) from receiving these lessons. Please print and fill out the form below if you would NOT like your child to participate in these lessons. This form can be turned in to your child's teacher. SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
St. Maximilian Kolbe will be hosting a clothing drive to benefit The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, on Tuesday, April 5th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Church parking lot.
NO LARGE APPLIANCES, FURNITURE,TVs, OR COMPUTERS.

They will take useable Men's and Women's and children's clothing in plastic bags or boxes. Kitchenware, games,toys, small appliances under 50 lbs, electronics, sporting goods, books, CDs and videos.

Safe Harbor Meals
Safe Harbor in West Chester provides shelter, food and other services to individuals in need. We need help from Parish volunteers to prepare and drop off dinners for this very worthy cause on the following dates;

Friday, April 29th

2021-2022 COVID PROTOCOLS
1. Waiver: Each Saint Max PREP catechist and student will have a signed and dated Archdiocesan Covid-19 waiver on file. If a parent/guardian refuses to sign the waiver, the family is offered a home-based catechetical plan.
2. Masks: All adults, teens and children are to be masked before, during an in-person instruction session and at dismissal until safely outdoors.
3. Social Distancing: Desks or seating must be three feet apart. Most classrooms have between 15 and 18 students. Classes that have 20-22 students have been placed in the larger classrooms.
4. Classroom or Instructional space:
• Environment: Keep well ventilated to the greatest extent possible to circulate fresh air. Ceiling fans are located in each classroom and window(s) will be opened for proper air ventilation. Teachers will keep classroom doors open.
• Seating Charts: Important for Covid-19 tracing if someone tests positive and was present at PREP. Students will sit in same seat each week for contact tracing purposes.
• Shared School classrooms: Desks or other furniture set up will not be adjusted.
5. Educational and Hygienic Supplies: The parish will provide hand sanitizer and tissues; educational materials such as crayons, markers, paper products, etc. Each supply box will contain individual, labelled bags of supplies for all students. Students will use the same supplies each week.
6. Cleaning and Sanitizing Shared Space: Rooms, bathrooms, high traffic areas and any shared space will be cleaned and sanitized after each PREP session. Water fountains WILL NOT be in use.
7. Monitoring Student Health: Parents/guardians will monitor their child’s health and not send a sick child to PREP.
8. Tracing and Reporting: If a student or an adult volunteer tests positive for Covid-19 or a variant, immediately contact the local County/City Department of Health for guidance.
9. In order to limit interaction, new arrival and dismissal procedures have been created. More information to come.
