Day of Prayer for the Unborn Children
The Diocese of Tucson's annual March for Life will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022. This powerful and peaceful event begins at Mass with Bishop Edward Weisenburger at Saint Augustine Cathedral at 9:00 am. Immediately following, we will walk from the Cathedral to Holy Hope Cemetery where a prayer service will take place in memory of the millions of unborn children who have been aborted since Roe v. Wade. All are invited to participate in person and/or to join in prayer.
"The political realities of our nation present us with opportunities and challenges. We are a nation founded on “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” but the right to life itself is not fully protected, especially for unborn children, the terminally ill, and the elderly, the most vulnerable members of the American family."

We are collecting eyeglasses; any prescription glasses, adult or child, and non-prescription readers and sunglasses. In addition, any used hearing aids are acceptable.
They will be reconditioned by the Rotary and sent to the needy, with low vision or hearing, in Southern Arizona, and throughout the world. Collection baskets are on the Narthex shelves. A larger collection box is under the South shelf at the end of the ICS Baskets.
