We hit the floor running in preschool! I heard only great things from Ms. Lamb about the kiddos on Thursday! Everyone did great & the day flew by! Thank you for being so involved in your children's lives & for helping them by preparing for change! I was happy to be back on Friday! I sure missed your children!
On Friday, we played in snow! I brought snow into the water table & the kids got to explore it in a warm environment! They had to wear their mittens or gloves to explore but they loved it! We will continue to do this until we don't have snow.
We also conducted and experiment and became "scientists" according to the kids. We had a group of markers that were dried up. We wondered what would happen if we dipped them in water & tried to write with them. We will see what happens tomorrow with that. I did put a brown marker in water to see what would happen. By the end of the day, the water had turned brown. They decided to leave it in the water over the weekend & see what would happen! Tomorrow is going to be awesome!
CHRISTMAS GIFTS: I would like to THANK YOU for the wonderful Christmas presents. I am loving all of the pampering products & have used the Wal-Mart gift card for some household items! You are all SO AWESOME! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
SNACK: Thank you very much Cora and family for sending a delicious snack this week! The fresh pears were delicious!
This week snack's person is Annabel Stransky!
WINTER WEATHER: Isn't all of the weather just wonderful? It's supposed to be warmer this week which means we should be able to get outside! We go outside everyday unless the windchill is below 15 degrees! So, please send snowpants, snowboots, hats, mittens or gloves & a coat that buttons or zips! Please send these EVERYDAY! It may be too cold to go outside in the morning but by afternoon it may be warm enough. Boots will be placed across the hall from our room on carpet squares. If you have questions, please see me!
Also, we follow the Washington Community School District for weather related announcements. If school is delayed, we will still have class, just 2 hours later. We will adjust our schedule and have snack in the afternoon on those days. Announcements will be made on KCRG TV and KCII radio!
