The Gift: Starting this weekend, get your free-to-you copy of Bishop Robert Barron's Lenten Gospel Reflections book. In fact, take two - one for you and one to give away to someone who wasn't active in the faith prior to the pandemic or hasn't returned to Mass since the pandemic. The booklet includes the gospel passage, Bishop Barron's reflection, and a reflection question for each day of Lent along with the Stations of the Cross and blank pages for notes.

The Invitation: Consider joining a small faith-sharing group for Lent. Each small group will meet 1 hour weekly from March 7 through April 9, for a total of 5 meetings. Meetings will allow members to reflect on the upcoming Sunday Bible readings, especially the gospel, Bishop Barron's reflection, and the reflection question. Additional materials will also be used to stimulate reflection and conversations. This is a great way to meet other parishioners, reconnect after the disconnect caused by the pandemic, and deepen your faith. There are meetings every day of the week Monday through Saturday, morning, afternoon, and evening, in-person and online, in Cohasset and Hull. Click "Sign Up" and then select one of the groups.

Before scrolling down to learn about this weekend's visit to Cohasset by the Daughters of St. Paul, Lent 2022, and June 18 Jesus Is Here, take a minute to look at pictures of the couples who will marry in our parishes this year. Don't forget to bring in your old, blessed palms this weekend so that we can burn them next week in preparation for Ash Wednesday.

World Day for Consecrated Life was celebrated officially on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 and in parishes over last weekend, February 5-6, 2022. To keep the celebration going, we will be welcoming the Daughters of St. Paul this weekend, February 12 and 13 in Cohasset. The Sisters will bring a wonderful selection of inspirational Catholic books, Bibles, Lives of Saints, books for children, and more! Plan to visit the display and choose items to enrich your faith and help you share it with others!

A core tenet of the Catholic faith is that the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ is made truly present in the Eucharist. But belief in the True Presence has waned in recent years, even among Catholics. And that’s a concern—because as Cardinal Seán teaches, “it is in the Eucharist where we find our true identity.” Jesus is Here is an opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of the mystery of Jesus’ presence with us—by listening to powerful talks on the Eucharist, by receiving Jesus in the Eucharist at Mass, and by adoring Him in a time of adoration and worship.

Registration is open for the June 18 Eucharistic Congress, Jesus Is Here, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. The center of this day-long gathering is the celebration of Mass with Cardinal Seán and time for Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It will also include Eucharist-themed talks by Bishop Daniel Flores, Bishop Robert Barron, Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, and Jackie and Bobby Angel, music by Village Lights, and the availability of a variety of Catholic-based vendors.
