Pre-Lent and Lenten Activities Coming Soon!
Lent is only three weeks away! Help prepare your heart for the season with several activities, then join us in Lent with some more reflective opportunities:
January 30th at 7pm in the Lewis Room - Catholic Social Teaching on the Just War Theory - a talk led by Father Justin and discussion led by Mark Moitoza, Director of Evangelization at the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.
February 10th at 6:30pm in the Woodlands Room - Inclusive Social Dance with St. Rose and adults from the surrounding community who have special needs and developmental differences.
February 18th at 4pm in the Woodlands Room - Join us for a Refugee Crisis Simulation created by Catholic Relief Services. Together you will cooperate, negotiate and learn how to better understand refugees and empathize with their plight. Perfect for the whole family, young and old!
February 24/25 - Collection for the MCCH Welcome Home Kits for homeless Veterans as they move into stable housing - stay tuned for a link on the St. Rose homepage.
March 2nd at 6pm in the Woodlands Room - Join us for a soup supper and talk by Father Jacek from Catholic Charities on Catholic Social Teaching and Today's News, followed by the Stations of the Cross.
March 18th at 4pm in the Woodlands Room - Intergenerational Service Project - Cup-of-Joe - Join us as we prepare 2000 meal kits for the homeless in DC.
