Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As I hear so many stories of the impact of Fr. Anthony Mecha's priestly ministry at the South Shore Hospital, I give thanks to the Archdiocesan Health Care Ministry, which funds and makes his ministry there possible.
As our parishes seek to increase our staffing as we emerge from the pandemic, the Archdiocesan Offices of Evangelization and Discipleship, and Human Resources are assisting us.
As a person from one of the parishes in our collaborative discerns a call to the Permanent Diaconate, the Office of the Permanent Diaconate is there to help.
The Health Care Ministry, Office of Evangelization and Discipleship, Human Resources, and Office of the Permanent Diaconate are all funded by the Catholic Appeal and, along with many other Archdiocesan ministries and services, are putting faith into action in our parishes and across the Archdiocese of Boston.
The 2022 Catholic Appeal was officially announced here in our parishes and across the Archdiocese on March 5 and 6. This past weekend, March 12 and 13, those who were at Mass completed a commitment card to the Appeal. If you weren't at Mass over the weekend or haven't yet made a decision about the Appeal, please give prayerful consideration to doing so today.
Need more inspiration? Watch the brief 3-minute video below and/or review the March 6 bulletin insert by clicking here for more ways by which the Catholic Appeal puts faith into action.
We invite you to prayerfully consider making a generous gift to this year’s appeal. When our parishes reach their goals of $117,132 (Cohasset) and $34, 927 (Hull) in paid pledges, a portion of the additional funds received will be returned to us for use in our parish.
Thank you!
Fr. Scott
