Consecration of Ukraine and Russia - March 25
On Friday, March 25, 2022, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary during the Celebration of Penance that he will preside at 11:00 a.m. (Central Daylight Time) in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
In our archdiocese, a Mass in French presided by Bishop Noël Delaquis, will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Boniface. A Mass in English presided by Fr. Anixavier Anthonymuthu, OFM Cap. will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish. Please note that in addition to the Mass, Holy Cross Church will be open for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. If you cannot make it to Mass, this is an opportunity to worship to pray for peace in Ukraine and to pray for Ukraine and Russia.
