Dear Students and Parishioners,

Every Palm Sunday and Good Friday, the Church reads the Passion of our Lord, and it is the custom for everyone, even the assembly or congregation, to take part in the reading as well (namely, by saying the lines spoken by the crowd in the Gospel). For those who would like to do so, the text (in English or Spanish) will be available on the Saint Mark’s home page where it can be downloaded to a phone or tablet (https://saint-marks.net/). Of course, people are welcome simply to participate in prayerful silence too, as together we recall the length, depth, and breadth of God’s love for us.

Cada Domingo de Ramos y Viernes Santo, la Iglesia lee la Pasión de Nuestro Señor, y es costumbre que todos, incluso la asamblea o congregación, también participen en la lectura (es decir, recitando las líneas pronunciadas por la multitud en el Evangelio). Para aquellos que deseen hacerlo, el texto (en inglés o español) estará disponible en la página de inicio de San Marcos donde se puede descargar a un teléfono o tableta (https://saint-marks.net/). Por supuesto, son igualmente invitados simplemente para participar en un silencio de oración, ya que juntos recordamos la profundidad del amor de Dios por nosotros.
