Dear Religious Education Families,

We we only have a few more weeks left of Religious Education for the 2021-2022 school year.  This weekend Sunday, April 10th, will be Palm Sunday.  Mass will be longer than normal, so please be aware that class will start about 10 minutes later than normal and will still end at 11:00 pm.  On April 17th, we will not have class because of Easter, enjoy the time with your family.  Then on Sunday, April 24th, we will meet in the Parish Hall to recognize our volunteers, play games, and enjoy fellowship with one another.  

We appreciate the time our religious education volunteers gave this year.  Each of them takes time to share their talents as they balance their everyday life schedule.  Some are able to volunteer year after year, while some just one year.  It's a blessing whenever you give time to God.  Please make sure to tell them Thank You!

We are excited to announce that we will be able to register our students online, but still working on the payment option for the tuition fee.  We hope to have both available to our families by Sunday, April 24th.  This will help the program prepare during the summer for our students!

We are looking for volunteers. Please think of what you do while your child(ren) attend their religious education class? Read, play on your phone, walk, or catch up with other parishioners?  These are all good things, but what if you were to share the talents God has given you and became a catechist or sub-catechist? This could be an opportunity for you to brush up on your knowledge about our religion. Or perhaps, a better way to teach your family and other community members our faith.  Two background checks, national and state, and then completing the Virtus on-line training are required.  All materials will be provided to teach the children.  Please consider taking a leap of faith and join the religious education team.  Email stambrosereligiousedu@gmail.com or let us know on the 24th to save your spot!

Thank you to everyone who participated with the Stations of the Cross class last week. Please remember that all are welcome to participate in the Stations of the Cross this Friday night (April 8th), 7:00 pm, then on Good Friday (April 15th) at 12:30 pm in the church.  This prayer helps the faithful make a spiritual journey through the observation of the Passion of Christ and grow closer to Jesus, especially during the Lenten season.
