Welcome to the April 13, 2022 edition of
Just 3 Things, the weekly social action newsletter of the Office of Human Life & Dignity. If this email was forwarded to you, and you'd like to receive it each week, please

As we move through Holy Week, let us reflect on the words of St. Teresa of Avila: "When we are overcome by sadness, fear, or suffering; when the pains of loss overwhelm us; when evil seems to have taken power; let us look to the cross and be filled with peace, knowing that Christ has walked this road and walks it now with us and with all our brothers and sisters."
Wishing you a blessed Holy Week and a joy-filled Easter.

As we come to the end of Lent, don't forget to turn in your Rice Bowls to your parish. You can also
donate online to support the work of Catholic Relief Services around the world.
If you would like to continue supporting CRS after Lent, consider forming a
CRS Chapter. These groups support the work of CRS year-round. Information sessions will be held by Zoom on Tuesday, April 26 at 5:00 pm and Wednesday, April 27 at 1:00 pm. (Photo: Amit Rudro/Catholic Relief Services)
Community leaders and those who would like to become involved in Restorative Justice will have an opportunity to build their skills through a set of trainings this summer. The
Faith-Based Restorative Justice Workshop on July 25 will provide an overview of Restorative Justice from a biblical perspective. Then, on July 26-29, there will be a four-day
Restorative Practices Training. All sessions will be held at Mercy Center in Burlingame. Contact
Julio Escobar if you are interested.
