What did Jesus talk about the afternoon of his resurrection? We know he had a conversation with two depressed disciples as they walked the 7 miles from Jerusalem to Emmaus. Adventurer & Pathfinder Campout
Our Adventurers and Pathfinders had a wonderful time at Hurkey Creek this past weekend. They spent time in God’s word, learned about nature, and earned honors as well!
Thank you to our Pathfinder Co-Directors, Franz and Jannet Sanchez, our Adventurer Co-Directors, James and Brandy Farley, Pastors Gatra and Linda, parents and volunteers for making this outing possible for our children. Here’s a brief update from each group about the campout!
Do you know what an elytra is? Ask an Adventurer! Adventurers learned all about ladybugs and even found some in the wild … as well as several other creepy-crawlies. We also learned that we are the body of Christ, each one different and yet important. Then we saw that in action as everyone helped in various ways to make the weekend amazing.
Brandy Farley, Co-Director, Azure Hills’ Adventurers
After a 2 year gap due to Covid-19, the Pathfinders were eager to have not one but two campouts plus their PSR retreat this year. Their spring campout theme was All In, saying Yes to Jesus.
They learned many skills such as how to start a fire without matches, proper tent care, and camping first aid. While Pastor Gatra was the speaker, the Pathfinders had an active role in sharing devotional messages and leading song services.
Katie Sacdalan, Azure Hills’ Elder
Now here’s a tour of where our children set up camp at Hurkey Creek. Watch this unique perspective Jason Sacdalan captured using his Insta360 R. Thank you for sharing, Jason!
Elias Center Work Bee
Thank you to everyone who came out last Sunday to our work bee for the Elias Center! So much progress has been made and it wouldn't be possible without you. Please continue to keep our kitchen and Elias Center in your prayers!

Please plan to join us in person in the Fellowship Hall Saturday night, April 30th, at 6:30 pm for Vision Night. This is our yearly gathering when we share exciting updates on ministry projects, our church finances and the direction God is moving us together. Your presence matters.
