This is an important and busy week
and it starts tonight at 6pm!
We have important events for First Communicants and
Confirmation Candidates.
Wed April 20th Regular RE Classes Start at 6pm
Sat April 23rd First Communion Retreat 10am til 1pm
Sun April 24th Confirmation Session with Candidates and Sponsors 11:15am
Confirmation is scheduled for Thursday May 5th at 7pm. Bishop Ricken will be presiding. Students from St Anne's of Francis Creek and Holy Cross of Mishicot will be joining us for Confirmation that evening.
We ask that the Confirmation Students and their Sponsors be in their seats by 6pm that night. We will be going over the particulars of the service that night. Bishop Ricken will meet with the students at 6:30 pm prior to the service.
Students and their Sponsors are expected to be at St Peter the Fisherman on Sunday April 24th for the final Confirmation session starting at 11:15am after the 10am Mass. The St Anne Students and Holy Cross Students will be joining us. We will walk through the particulars of the service, practice and then hold a joint session for the Students and their Sponsors. The session is expected to last til 1:15 pm.
First Communion is scheduled for May 1st at the 10am Mass. The students will also be participating in the May Crowning of Mary at that Mass. Students will be given assigned seats. Those seats will be reserved for the First Communicants and their Parents. It is a regularly scheduled Mass so we suggest family members get to Mass early to get a seat.
Typically girls wear white communion dresses and boys wear at least dress slacks and a dress shirt. Some boys will wear suits or at least ties/bow ties. It is a special day and you will want them to look great for pictures.
