St. Peter School Board Accepting Nominations for New Members
The St. Peter School Board is currently accepting nominations for new members for the 2022-2023 academic year. The St. Peter School Board members advise our Pastor and School Principal on developing and reviewing policy for St Peter School. Policy gives general direction to the administration to address or clarify expectations for students, parents and teachers.
The Board is seeking to fill the following positions:
- 1 Catholic Identity Member*: This member stays abreast of the Catholic faith formation major goals and reports to the general membership. There are two Catholic Identity members on the Board.
- 1 Institutional Member*: This member stays abreast of the major school environment and parent/school partnership matters and reports to the general membership. There are two Institutional members on the Board.
- 1 PSR Relations Members*: This member stays abreast of the current ongoings of our PSR program and reports to the general membership. There is one PSR Relations member on the Board.
- 1 Member-At-Large*: This member is ready to help as needs arise. There is one Member-At-Large on the Board.
* Please note: None of our members are expected to be experts within their given School Board position. School Board members are liaisons between the experts and the Board.
Ideal candidates are:
- Committed to Catholic Education
- Knowledgeable about the Parish segment they represent
- Able to see the “big picture” and balance the needs of the entire Parish community
- Willing to invest time and energy on a variety of board activities
