Saint Ann parish families met this month to discuss New Evangelization and to hold a listening session for the Synod on Synodality. Our First Communion students had their First Reconciliation, painted chalices to commemorate their First Communion, and are looking forward to First Communion at the end of the month! Our Confirmation students have been preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, which will take place at Saint Ann next month.
We continue to have copies of Magnifikid available on Sundays and major feasts and holy days. They are placed near the bulletins for children to grab as they come into Mass. Each copy of Magnifikid includes all the readings and prayers of the Sunday Mass with explanations of the difficult words and the meaning of the rituals; a suggested prayer for Morning and Evening; many suggestions on how to live the entire week with the Lord; various games, a comic, and activities to help children learn about Christian life and culture; and a page intended for the parents with suggestions for family prayers. MagnifiKid is for children between the ages of 6 and 12. We hope that this new addition will help to engage your children in the Mass and continue your Sunday worship experience throughout the week!
