Noodles and Neurons is next Thursday, April 28th; with supper at 5:00 PM followed by activities from 5:30-6:30.
Next week, the Book Fair will be open from 3-4 PM Monday through Wednesday, and 8 AM through 6:30 PM Thursday.
Looking at the end of the year, parent volunteers are needed for Tuesday, May 17th. Volunteers are needed for recess duties, the creative courses (to help staff that are teaching the courses) from 9:40-11:40, and for Bingo for Books in the afternoon.
Parent volunteers are also needed for the last day of school, May 24th, to help with the carnival. Please call the office or email me if you are able to help on either day.
The kids learned a little bit about coding today when they colored a picture for Earth Day. I also read them a story about the environmental history of the Nashua River located in Massachusetts.
Math-
We'll start a review of money. They need to be able to identify all of the coins and values.
Reading-
They'll play a game with irregular verbs, and multiple meaning words, and practice drawing conclusions. There will be a spelling and reading test next Friday.
Science and Social Studies-
One group finished their tower this week, so next week the class will finish these then build a bridge with the same materials. I'll share some pictures when they're all done. During social studies they'll work on the timeline of the Nashua River. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great weekend!
