PRESCHOOL UPDATE: Last week was a whirlwind of excitement and activities! It was so fun to see everyone in superhero costumes or favorite colors! Special Guest day was so wonderful! I think everyone had a good time playing bingo & Superhero Musical Chairs! Thank you to all that came & made our celebration so great! This week, we worked on catching up on some projects that we have been working on! Children are being encouraged to write words in the There Was A Cold Lady book that they each have. Even if they aren't able to make a letter yet or they get mixed up when listening to sounds, the experience of having a pencil in their hand and writing is a great thing!
I rearranged a couple of areas in the room to create more room to play and create! Next week, we will be working on our Valentine Day bags! The party is Tuesday, February 13 at 2pm. You are welcome to join us!
Please remember to send your child’s snow gear! If the weather allows, we will be going outside! At the least, snow will be in our water table to experiment with! Please send all items labeled somehow. If you need a gold or silver sharpie to label items, let me know! I have one of each!
WATER BOTTLES: PLEASE, PLEASE send your child’s water bottle back with them on Monday!
SNACK: Trax was the Snack-A-Nator a week ago. We had a great variety of snacks. The kids enjoy when they get to make their own snack! They got to make PB & J roll ups! Spreading peanut butter and jelly is a great fine motor skill! Thanks Trax and family for all the yummy snacks!
This week Samantha is our Snack-A-Nator! Bananas and strawberries are always a favorite! Thank you so very much to Samantha and family for the delicious snacks. Next week, our Snack-A-Nator will be Ryder Vittetoe.
SUPERHERO OF THE WEEK: Samantha McElroy was our Superhero a week ago! She had such a fun time telling us about her brothers and sister & her family! She is very proud of her family! She always beams when she talks about them!
This week Cora Minino is our Superhero of the week! She was so awesome at telling us a story about each one of the pictures she brought! She used great descriptive words when telling us about her visit to South Dakota and to the Zoo. She could run the show!
