Good afternoon everyone. Attached is our bulletin for this Sunday, May 1, The Third Sunday of Easter. Remember, our Spring Fling is tomorrow (4/30) from 1:00pm-3:30pm (see details below).
A Novena of Masses will be offered for mothers—both living and deceased—beginning on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8th. Please submit the names of those you wish to be remembered at the altar to the parish office by next Friday, May 6th. Cards with offering envelopes are available in the church vestibule. Envelopes are also in the May offering packet. To submit your novena request/donation via online giving visit www.ourstcharles.org and click on “Giving” then “Online Giving” at the top of the page—just select “Mothers Day” as the Fund for your donation and type in the name of your loved one in the space provided.
We will celebrate a May Crowning after the 8:30am Mass on Sunday, May 8th. There will be a procession out of the church to the Mary Garden for a brief prayer service and crowning of the Mary statue. Please join us!
Sacristan-in-Training Needed
We are looking for a young adult,
age 18-21, to train as a sacristan
for all weekend Masses. This is a
part-time, paid position; Saturdays,
3pm-5:30pm and Sundays, 8am-
12:30pm. Duties include setting up
the worship space for Mass, running the livestream feed, and general assistance with the flow of the liturgy. Interested candidates should contact the parish office to speak with Fr. Canisius.
To celebrate the Year Of the Eucharist, the Archdiocese of Baltimore is sponsoring an art contest inspired by the theme of our fourfold Encounter with Christ in the Eucharistic Liturgy (The Eucharist, the Word, the Priest-Celebrant, and the Congregation). Open to all ages! Any kind of artistic media that can be uploaded/shared digitally is welcome (e.g. drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, music, poetry, short story, video, etc...)
