It’s not always possible to go back to the way things were. There are events in our life that change us. Sometimes you can’t restore, you must rebuild, setting out on a new path. Is it possible to move forward into new territory without fear? Certainly, the people of God faced immense challenges. This Sabbath, we continue in our new sermon series Re[Build]: God's Promises, A Sure Foundation. In this series, we will journey through the Book of Ezra as the exiled people of God find their way.
On Sabbath, April 30, Pastor Tara VinCross will share a message, “The Struggle with Starting Over.” This week you are invited to pray and reflect on Ezra 3 in preparation for the message. Come and go deeper together in the word of God and what this means for our lives today.
We have the gift of having Redlands Adventist Academy choir and bells share our music for the day.

Help Spread the Word to our Neighbors about VBS!
All are invited to help us share the great news about VBS Monumental coming to Azure Hills Church on June 27-July 2, 2022. We are going to meet next Saturday, May 7, at 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will then go out in groups around our neighborhood to spread the word about VBS. Come dressed in your blue “Together We Serve” T-shirt or your Class C uniform.

Michael Benggon had a genuine relationship with God at a young age. He was determined not to give up on God despite setbacks on sensitive family issues. It was through selling Christian books door to door that he came across the gospel message, giving him courage and strengthening his faith.
Intergenerational Game Night
You're invited to our next Intergenerational Game Night on Saturday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Here are pictures from our last game night in February. This is a great opportunity to connect with various age groups within our church. Feel free to bring one of your favorite board games. There will be food and prizes! We hope to see you there!
Church Family
The memorial service for Dr. Stanley Condon will be tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. at the Redlands SDA Church, 520 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA 92373. Dr. Condon spent 7 years as a missionary in the Philippines and was a faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Please keep his wife Vaneta and their family in your prayers.
All friends of Carolyn Salisbury are welcome to attend a memorial service and celebration of her life on Sabbath, May 14, at 2:30 p.m. This service will be held in the Fireside Room (back of the large Fellowship Hall). Carolyn is pictured here with her late mother Marylou.
The graveside service for Julie Anne Majestic, former director of the Loma Linda Academy Children’s Center, will be held on Sabbath, May 14th, at 1:30 p.m., in the Iris Garden of Montecito Memorial Park. Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 15th, at 2:00 p.m., in the main sanctuary at Loma Linda University Church.

At our IYMC Mentone Music Camp this June, young musicians ages 6 to 13 are offered an engaging, week-long musical experience. Our quality musical training, combined with fun, friends, and faith-building encounters, provides a truly incredible opportunity. Campers are taught the value of music ministry and enjoy opportunities to minister to others at the end of camp.
