The Strongest Tie
Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. And let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-5)
Doesn’t matter wherever we are, whatever we do, one thing we are all have in common is the gift of faith. Our faith might be different in size, but, in the end, it is the last and strongest tie that binds us to God. Everything depends upon it. Those who believe may fall, but they are never lost. You might be suffering in secret, for whatever reason. The good news today is that the Lord hears your cry. Even when sinners fall away from God's merciful arms, they still can hope for forgiveness, as long as they have not cut this last tie with Him. So do not despair in the midst of your suffering. Praying unceasingly!
The righteous cry out, the LORD hears and he rescues them from all their afflictions. / The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, saves those whose spirit is crushed. / Many are the troubles of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all. (Psalms 34:18c-20 | NABRE)
