Well, no ducks today! Today was hatching day, so we will see what the weekend brings! I will be checking them over the weekend.
Thank you all for bringing your kiddos to Noodles and Neurons! It was great to watch them "strut their stuff!" And thank you for taking the time to hear from them what they have learned.
Next week is a "normal" week with no extras thrown in it (that we know of). No early out on Friday.
We have finished our reading series! No more new stories, no more spelling, lots of review and we will keep on reading in small groups, large groups, aloud and silently. We will focus on math, Science and finishing our Social Studies unit.
Dates to remember:
**Wednesday, May 11 is our Spring Concert at the Community Center. Prelude begins at 6:15, concert at 6:30.
**Tuesday, May 17 is a day of activities. If you are willing to help any time throughout the day please let us know!
**Wednesday, May 18 is Track and Field Day! This will be at Hillcrest. All are welcome to come cheer on, watch and spend time with your kiddos. Lunch will be provided for our St. James students and staff so please bring your lunch if you plan to come visit us. (Rain date will be Friday, May 20).
**Tuesday, May 24 is our last day of school. We will do a school-wide carnival and dismiss at 12:55.
***17 more days! Hold on, it is going to go fast!
Have a great weekend,
Mrs. Sheetz
