Third of Easter
He is Risen!!!!!
The resurrected Jesus is teasing the Apostles! All night long He has kept the fish away from the apostles who are not trusting and waiting for Him as He asked. Then, come dawn, He and asks them to throw their cast nets off the other side of the boat (whaattt??). A simple act of obedience on their part will be enough for Him to fill their nets to the breaking point!
Jesus is all about second chances! Last Sunday we reflected on His divinely merciful Heart, which restores and rejuvenates us with His Mercy. He then invites the disciples to eat breakfast with Him, for the way to a man's heart is definitely through the stomach. Later He invites Peter to proclaim his faith three times, compensating for his denial on Good Friday. Peter is restored and becomes a new man, a holy man.
So too can you and I become a new person in Jesus if we are willing to share in in His merciful cleansing love, and follow His guidance. And what joy that will bring both Him and us!

QHR-Wea has been informed that Totus Tuus does not have enough missionary teams to send to all of the parishes that applied for this summer. We are on a waitlist.
Since this is the case, we will offer Vacation Bible School, June 13th-17th, from 9AM - Noon for kindergarten thru 5th grade (fall 2022). Registration opens on April 25th. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
A bit of humor......
Three animals were having a huge argument over who was the best.
The first, a hawk, claimed that because of his ability to fly, he could attack anything repeatedly from above, and his prey had nary a chance.
The second, a lion, based his claim on his strength ...
None in the forest dared to challenge him.

The third, a skunk, insisted he needed neither flight nor strength to frighten off any creature.
As the three debated the issue, an alligator came along and swallowed them all ... hawk, lion and stinker.
