FIRST COMMUNION, 12:30PM
Today at the 12:30 Mass we will be having our First Communicants present. They made their first confession on April 6, 2022. They have been practicing in their class on how to receive communion by hand. May they always find nourishment at the table of the Lord. Please join us today for this celebration. Those making their first communion are: Hailey Gonzales, Vivienne Gutierrez, Xander Palor, and Anthony Wierzba.
THANK YOU!
Catechists I, Bea Bailey, DRE, would like to thank my teachers who were so devoted every Sunday in being prepared with their weekly lessons for our children, teens, and adults. Please pray for our catechists and their families. May they now take a deserving rest over the summer and return to us in the Fall ready to greet the new up-coming students with the word of God. Thank you, David Gutierrez, (Pre K-1st Gr.), Monica Lozano, (First Communion), Lorenzo Acosta, (Confirmation for Teens & Adults), Nelson de los Santos, (RCIA adapted for Children), and Deacon Vincent Scheel, (RCIA for Adults).
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in dire need of Altar Servers. They can be male and female; ages 12 on up to adults. We also need readers at the Vigil Mass and for our four Sunday masses. You will be having a training session for these two services. Please call Bea at 210-227-0126 ext. 4 to leave your name and phone number; so that we may contact you later when we will be having a Parish Meeting to discuss the needs of our Parish.
MISSALETTES
We have not yet received our new Missalettes due to a paper shortage according to our suppliers. We will continue to use our current missalettes for the music. Daily readings are available at
