The Word of Life intercessions and bulletin quotes for the month of May are attached.
The attached Respect Life Article of the Month is called "A Perfect Gift". Every life is precious because each person is created in the image and likeness of God and is loved infinitely by Him. Caring for persons with disabilities demonstrates the joy that comes from recognizing the fundamental truth that every life is a good and perfect gift. You can download the article by clicking

Also, a reminder that it's not too late to include the most recent "Call to Action" flyer to oppose physician-assisted suicide in your parish bulletins if you have not already done so. As you may know, the status of the bills in the Massachusetts legislature has changed and they now rest with the Committee on Health Care Finance. The bishops of the four dioceses of Massachusetts have asked all parishes in the state to urge parishioners to contact their legislators asking them to oppose this dangerous legislation by including the bulletin insert from the Massachusetts Catholic Conference on the weekend of April 30/May 1. If you have already done so, thank you! If you missed the flyer/announcement in the 4/25 Dispatch, it's not too late. Another copy is attached for your convenience which can be included on the coming weekend. In addition to the English language copy attached here, the bulletin insert is also available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian-Creole, and Vietnamese, and these can be easily downloaded at
www.macatholic.org. It is extremely important that the people of Massachusetts speak up in defense of those most vulnerable and keep assisted suicide out of our state. We greatly appreciate your making this information known to your parishioners!
THANK YOU!
