El nuncio apostólico Mons. Christophe Pierre envía un mensaje a los fieles de la Diócesis de St. Petersburg y junto con Mons. José Gomez, presidente de la Conferencia Católica de Obispos de los EE. UU., envía una bendición a todos en la diócesis, durante el Congreso Raíces y Alas 2022.

VI Congreso Nacional Católico Raíces y Alas que tuvo como lema
Voces Proféticas: Ser puentes para una nueva época.El congreso fue planificado por el Consejo Nacional Católico para el Ministerio Hispano (NCCHM, por sus siglas en inglés) junto a 70 líderes de 64 organizaciones y 8 oficinas de la USCCB, trabajando en conjunto para discernir y desarrollar respuestas e iniciativas pastorales a las prioridades ministeriales documentadas en las Conclusiones del V Encuentro y en la realidad pospandémica.
El congreso contó con la visita de dignatarios del Vaticano, Europa y América Latina. Los participantes del congreso tuvieron también la oportunidad de levantar sus voces proféticas en el Capitolio al reunirse con miembros del Senado de EE. UU. para abogar por una reforma migratoria integral y DACA.
Los participantes se reunieron en Pastoral de Conjunto y en sinodalidad y en oración para reflexionar sobre las iniciativas pastorales necesarias para responder a la realidad actual en las áreas ministeriales de justicia social, familia, Pastoral Juvenil Hispana y formación pastoral.

The Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Christophe Pierre shares a message to the all the faithful of the Diocese of St. Petersburg and together with Archbishop José Gomez, President of the USCCB, send their blessings to all in our diocese, while at the Raíces y Alas 2022 Congress.

Sixth National Catholic Congress Raíces y Alas: Prophetic Voices: Ser puentes para una nueva época.The Congress was planned by the National Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry NCCHM, with the participation of 70 leaders from 64 organizations and 8 offices of the USCCB, collaborating to discern and develop answers and pastoral initiatives to the ministerial priorities documented in the Conclusions of the V Encuentro and the post pandemic reality.
Dignitaries from the Vatican, Europe and Latin America attended were present at the congress. Participants had the opportunity to raise their prophetic voices on Capitol Hill by meeting with members of the U.S. Senate to advocate for comprehensive immigration reform and DACA.
Participants worked in Pastoral de Conjunto and in synodality and prayer to reflect on the pastoral initiatives necessary to respond to the current reality in the ministerial areas of social justice, family, Pastoral Juvenil Hispana and pastoral formation.
