How can one God be three persons? The mystery of the Trinity is the heart of the Christian faith. God does not just love us, God is love. God is three divine persons, but one God. When we say "persons", we don't mean people. God is completely other than us. We can only say how we are 'like' God. But God, is uncreated and we are created. We are different fundamentally, but God shares his "image and likeness" with us. We are like a reflection in a mirror. We are not the source of the reflection; God is the source.
