Join us tomorrow, May 13th at 7:00pm in the Church to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Fatima. Fr. Tom will also offer Consecration to Immaculate Mary.
OUR HISTORY AT OUR LADY OF GRACE
75th Anniversary Memory
After the church was opened on Easter in 1948, parishioners were active in the men's Holy Name Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society, the women's Holy Rosary Sodality, choir, teen and youth groups. Monthly game parties and annual bazaars were held to raise funds for their dream of a large church and school. In 1950, parishioners volunteered their labor to build a social hall. Rev. Patrick Stack became pastor in 1951. Additional property was purchased over the following two decades. The first portion extended to Somerset (at that time, William St.) and was designated for the present church. The rectory was moved from Anita Ave. to the area next to the church in 1954. Intense fundraising campaigns were held, and parishioners pledged monthly support.

Many thanks to those parishioners who have already generously contributed towards our Bishop’s Ministries Appeal. We are looking for greater participation! Following is the status of this appeal through April 30th:

We are currently at 40% of our goal! We are looking for 100% participation from Our Lady of Grace parishioners!
HELP WANTED: Coordinator
for Whole Family Programs (K-5)
The Coordinator of K-5 works with the Pastor to provide religious education leadership that supports the mission of our parish. The Coordinator will also manage the curriculum, volunteers, and the implementation of the programs that support the teaching of the Church and encourage opportunities for involvement in parish life. This is a part-time, 12-15 hours per week, Non-Exempt position and must be available for the Sunday programs 2-3 Sundays a month from September-May. COLUMBIETTE’S FIRST MEETING
ATTENTION LADIES! We are very excited to announce the first meeting of the Columbiettes at our parish. We will meet on Wednesday, May 18th at 7:00pm in Stack Center, Room 7. All women over 18 are encouraged to attend. We will have games and prizes and a fun time. Bring your rosary. We will pray for peace in the Ukraine. MISSING ITEMS FROM CHURCH
On Sunday, May 8th, after the 5:00pm Mass, a bag containing Knights of Columbus shirts was missing from the vestibule. If you have any information on its whereabouts, please call the Parish Office at 510-537-0806, no questions asked! Thank you for your help.
