Study Session: Prayer: Finding Intimacy with God
May 15, 2022
Dr. Tim Gray masterfully uses the discipline of Lectio Divina to show you how to make prayer an effective effort of love and intimacy. In six video sessions, Lectio: Prayer: Finding Intimacy with God captures the secret to opening our hearts and minds to Scripture as the means to hear from God and then respond in conversation, basking in his presence and resolving to live in and through his love. Engaging and accessible, Prayer: Finding Intimacy With God includes:
- The Lectio Divina approach of Reading, Reflecting, Responding, and Contemplating
- Penetrating questions and insights for the six video sessions
- Additional resources for a fuller understanding and application
- Daily reflections to deepen the meaning of prayer in your life
This is a 6 week study that will be 10am - 12pm on Sunday mornings starting 5-15-22 and will be available in person and via Zoom meeting. The student guide will be about $10.

St Mark Golden Treasures Senior Potluck

Friends, we invite you to our monthly potluck with a picnic theme on Saturday, 5/28 following the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass to celebrate Memorial Day in remembrance of U.S. Military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. All St. Mark members and your friends 50+ are welcome to share a potluck dinner with us. The potluck is in the Smyth Pastoral Center, Community Room #101. It will be open before the 5:00 pm Mass if you would like to drop off your picnic dish. Hot dogs and buns will be provided. We can’t wait to see everyone. VBS Registrations Open
July 11-15, 2022
Registrations are now open for Vacation Bible School
This year, VBS will be on July 11th through 15th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Parish Center for all students entering K-5th grade. Registration is limited and ends June 13th. Please pick up an application in the Narthex, in the Parish Office, or on our website using the button. Applications for teen (middle & high school level) and adult volunteers are also available.

The Vocation Discernment Weekend helps single Catholic men and women, ages 18-40, find answers to questions they may have about life as a Priest, Sister, Brother, or Consecrated Lay Woman. The Vocation Discernment Weekend includes presentations, panel discussions, question and answer sessions, one-on-one personal conferences with diocesan and order Priests, Sisters, Consecrated Lay Women, & Brothers who volunteer to serve as staff. Entrenamiento de Ministros de Eucaristia

Acompáñenos el jueves 12 de mayo en el Salón McGivney de 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm para el entrenamiento de Ministros de Eucaristía (español) enfocado principalmente en la Comunión a los Enfermos y Confinados. El entrenamiento dirigido por el Diácono Federico Márquez y el Diácono Fred Rotchford también ofrecerá una opción virtual y el enlace a la clase será transmitido el miércoles 11 de mayo.
