Hello all,
We're excited to begin registration for next year's classes! The form is now active online! Please be aware of big changes to our Confirmation program for next year when registering.
First, in an effort to have consistency among the parishes in the Diocese of Raleigh, all parishes have been asked to celebrate Confirmation in the 10th grade. This means that Confirmation prep will now begin in the 9th grade.
If you have a child currently in Year I (7th grade), they will be allowed to continue to Year II next year if they completed their work. Provided your child finishes Year II next year, they will receive Confirmation in 2023. These will be the last 8th graders to do so.
Rising 7th graders will be able to register for normal faith formation class.
Secondly, ALL Confirmation candidates will now be required to attend Mass on Sundays in order to complete the program. Mass will be included with the in-person classes on Sunday nights. This is why the class time has moved to Sunday nights (5:15PM-8PM) For online students, instructions for recording Mass attendance will be given at the first parent meeting.
