Things are slowing down for Middle School Youth Ministry! There are just a few quick updates below! During the summer months, you will receive fewer updates from me, but I will always pass on any relevant news or information for your middle school aged children.
Proactive Parenting Event // Postponed to Fall 2022
If you were planning on attending our Proactive Parenting event on Sunday, where Pam Singer was planning on speaking about the Developmental Assets and the 2020 Midland County Youth Survey, please note that it has been postponed to the fall!
The Big Reveal Books!
The students who participated in Sunday evening Middle School Youth Ministry this year have published a book! All year, they created paintings and told the stories of the Bible in their own words, and now their stories are in a book! If your child participated in Sunday evening YM this year, he or she has a book waiting for them in the main entryway of church (closest to the baptismal font), next to the Lost & Found.
The students did a FANTASTIC job on this project, so please check it out! :)
There are sample copies of the book on display in both of the main church entryways if you'd like to flip through one.
Additional copies of the book are available for purchase for $10. Please contact me or visit the Faith Formation office if you'd like to purchase a copy.
VBS Volunteers Needed!
Middle school students are needed to help out at VBS, which is coming up June 13-16! Click the button to register as a volunteer! If you have specific questions about VBS, you can contact Corinne Cathcart at corinnec@blessed-midland.org.
