Consider joining us for our Catechist Training classes this summer!
The classes are free, the curriculum is supported by the Bishop, and we always have food. These classes are open to any adult, regardless of intent of joining our Religious Education Ministry.

Sunday, June 26 – 12-2pm - Catholic Prayer in the Classroom (Level 1): This session discusses what is prayer, different forms of prayer, and focuses in on the Our Father. Please register for this session no later than June 19.
Thursday, July 14 – 6-8pm – Understanding Church (Level 1): This session discusses the different models of the Church, the 4 marks of the Church, and how to share these details with your students. Please register for this session no later than July 7.
Tuesday, August 9 – 5-9pm – Pre-requisite Blitz: Including The Catechist and Catholic Culture, The Catechist and the Learner, and The Tools of the Catechist: These sessions give the basic building blocks and expectations for teaching in our religious education programs. Concepts discussed include Church Tradition, working with various student learning styles, and using the Bible, Catechism, and textbooks in our classrooms. Please register for this session no later than August 2.
