Dear Parents-
Grandparents Day, the Spring Concert, our Book Fair and Art Show have kept things hopping this week for us. There is a lot to organize and get accomplished, but also a lot of joy in celebrating with our families. It has been wonderful to see so many faces.
We look forward to Family Fun Night on Friday from 4-7 at DMCC (139 Mercy Drive) to continue the fun. Thank you to the many who have stepped forward to organize and volunteer for this event. You are needed and appreciated! If you want to help, there is still time. Click on the link in the tile below to sign up. Thank you!
Next week we step into the last 5 days of the 2021-2022 school year. It has been a year packed with challenges, but our perseverance has reaped rewards in so many ways. We plan for the last few days of the school year to provide opportunities to celebrate.
K-5 Picnic:
This is planned for May 24th at Alexander Park. Students will be walking to the park for lunch, playing games, and getting picked up at the end of the day there. All bus and aftercare students will be bussed back to the DMCS building. Students are asked to wear their class color shirts and dress down bottoms this day.
Preschool Last Day and Graduation Celebrations:
May 25th is the last day for all preschool classes. The KR classes will have their graduations on this day as well.
Thursday, May 26th will be a dress down day for all due to the cleaning in the classrooms.
K-5 Last Day and 5th Grade Celebration:
Our 5th graders will have their special celebration on Friday, May27th beginning with Mass at 8:30 AM. (Please note: Mass will be held on Friday not Wednesday during the last week of school). This is also the last day of school for all K-5 students.
Looking forward to the many opportunities to see you in the coming days!
Many Blessings!
Mrs. Ashley
