Ascension Thursday
Holy Day of Obligation
Thursday, May 26, is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, and is a Holy Day of Obligation, meaning, as Catholics, it should be a priority to gather with the other members of the Body of Christ on this day, the same as on Sundays, and celebrate the Mass.
We will have a special schedule of Masses for this occasion, as follows:
- Wednesday (5/25)
- 4:00 PM Mass at St. Louise
- 7:00 PM Mass at St. Joan
- Thursday (5/26)
- 6:45 AM at St. Louise
- 8:00 AM at St. Joan
- 9:00 AM at St. Louise
- (please note that the students of St. Louise School will be present and thus, seating will be limited)
- Noon Mass at St. Louise
- 7:00 PM at St. Louise
Livestream at 8:00 AM Mass from St. Joan and 9:00am Mass from St. Louise
Holiday Schedule
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, we will NOT have a 7:00am Mass nor 6:45pm Holy Hour at Saint Louise Church. (Note that we WILL HAVE our usual 8:00am Mass at St. Joan and 9:00am Mass at St. Louise that day.)
Additionally, on Monday, May 30 the parish offices will be closed.

Recertification for Existing Employees and Volunteers
Protecting God’s Children Maltreatment 3.2 and Vulnerable Adults Combined. This training is required for all clergy, staff, and volunteers as a follow-up to the Protecting God’s Children course. This new online training will take just over an hour to complete and will be recertified every three years.
To complete the video training, log in at www.virtusonline.org. If you don’t know your login information, click the “need login information” link under the password box. All volunteers have an account, regardless of whether they have accessed the system in the past.
While your volunteer help is greatly appreciated and much needed, this training is a requirement in order to continue.

Some Good News
A young parishioner and her friend decided to have a lemonade stand to raise money for the Felician Sisters and their orphanage in Poland that is housing Ukrainian refugees. The girls were able to raise $185 through this generous gift of time! That's a good reminder for all of us to do what we can to help others. Way to go girls!!
