Memorial Day Mass

Please join us for Mass  as we thank, honor and pray for those who fought and died for the cause of freedom this Memorial Day, May 30th at 9:00 AM. This year, we are working with the St. Boniface & St. Lawrence Catholic Pastorate to host Mass at St. Boniface Cemetery. Fr. Mark Walter will be concelebrating. If you are able to join us, please park on the outer lanes of the cemetery to allow those needing a shorter walk to park closer. If you are also able, please bring a chair to allow the provided chairs to be used by those who are unable to carry one.

Mark your calendars for the first annual Church of the Blessed Sacrament Trivia Night on August 20^th!  Get your teams together now and watch for the details to come.

Feeding the hungry is an important Corporal Work of Mercy within the Catholic Church. One way we have found to do that at Blessed Sacrament is a ministry we call Freezer Fillers.   A few people gather in the church’s kitchen to cook a larger meal together which can be divided into family meal-size portions and stored in the church freezer until needed.  Do you want to help with this ministry? Our next planned cooking session will take place Saturday May 28th at 10am to help meet this need. Totus Tuus

We will be offering this catechetical summer
 program this year for the first time.  It is a fun week immersed in our Catholic faith.  Mass, games, lunch, scripture, prayer and the rosary are some of the things happening throughout the week (July 24^th - 29^th). It is led by a group of four college students trained by the Diocese.  

There will be plenty of opportunities for volunteering in some way for those interested.  The program is divided between elementary age children (1^st - 6^th grade) during the day and middle and high school children (7^th - 12^th grade) in the evening.  

Schedule: 

·1st - 6th grades 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM (July 25th - July 29th) - Cost $50 - Lunch provided & tshirt included in cost

·7th - 12th grades 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (July 23rd - July 28th) - Cost $25 - snacks provided & tshirt included in cost

Vacation Bible School

Our VBS will focus on preschool and kindergarten kids (ages 3 (fully potty trained) to 5).  
 It will run June 27^th- July 1^st  from 9am - 11am. Lots of volunteers are needed in order to make this event possible.  Please contact Tanya Martinez at tmartinez@parish.dol-in.org for more information.
