Dear Beloved Parish Family:
Many thanks for your support of St. Ambrose parish in so many ways. I am grateful for the support and encouragement you and others have given over the recent years.
I write today to ask you to take some part in the Bishop's Annual Appeal for 2022. This is the way we do our part to bring the message of hope and life to many, many people in our diocese.
If you have already made your pledge, thank you for your generous gift! Every donation brings us closer to meeting our parish goal.
St. Ambrose's goal is $57,876—about $350 per family, on average. Currently, the parishioners of St. Ambrose have pledged $34,469, with $23,407 remaining to reach our goal.
We're confident we will achieve our goal, but we need your help.
The Bishop's Annual Appeal is the main source of support for the pastoral, charitable, and educational ministries of our diocese throughout the year. Here are some examples of the many programs, ministries, and services our contributions support:
·Catholic Charities' work, which includes basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing in addition to counseling, youth services, the Diocesan Heating Assistance program, and family support (www.ccdok.org).
·Formation and continuing education for catechists, deacons, and priests.
·Marriage Enrichment programs for married couples, Joy-Filled Marriage for couples preparing for marriage, and the annual 50th Wedding Anniversary Mass.
·Catholic School Accreditation Program, professional development for administrators and teachers, school websites, and school board training.
Will you please be part of this great team of generous, engaged St. Ambrose parishioners by using the pledge form that was mailed to you? Help our parish to reach its goal of $57,876. Please know that every contribution, no matter the size, is appreciated and will be acknowledged.
Please complete your pledge form and mail it to the parish, or place it in the regular collection basket when you come to Mass. You can also make your gift or pledge online, through the parish website (https://stambroseparchment.com) or the diocese's website (https://www.osvonlinegiving.com/867).
Keep smiling—God loves a cheerful giver.
Gratefully,
Fr. Albert Kemboi
Parish Priest
