Please stop and make a visit to our beautiful Blessed Mother in the grotto. Celebrate Mary our mother this month by saying the Rosary everyday as she asked us to do in her visits to the children at Fatima.

Gracious God, on this Memorial Day weekend, we remember and give thanks for those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
When the need was greatest, they stepped forward and did their duty to defend the freedoms that we enjoy, and to win the same for others.
O God, you yourself have taught us that no love is greater than that which gives itself for another.
These honored dead gave the most precious gift they had, life itself, for loved ones and neighbors, for comrades and country - and for us.
Help us to honor their memory by caring for the family members they have left behind, by ensuring that their wounded comrades are properly cared for,
by being watchful caretakers of the freedoms for which they gave their lives, and by demanding that no other young men and women follow them to a soldier's grave unless the reason is worthy and the cause is just.
Holy One, help us to remember that freedom is not free.
There are times when its cost is, indeed, dear.
Never let us forget those who paid so terrible a price
to ensure that freedom would be our legacy.
Though their names may fade with the passing of generations,
may we never forget what they have done.
Help us to be worthy of their sacrifice,
O God, help us to be worthy.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: ALTAR SERVERS BOTH CURRENT AND NEW (need to be trained)
Father Papa is very grateful to all the parents of our Altar Servers who encourage and transport their server to their assigned Masses week in and week out. The parish appreciates your generous commitment!
At this time, Father Papa would like to make some changes for the Servers to learn and understand, and would like to review these changes as part of the training with the new servers. Sacristan, Diana Ricciuti will also be on hand to assist in answering any questions.
It is imperative that your child(ren) attend the two scheduled meetings. Each session should last 45 minutes:
- Tuesday, May 31st - at 4:00 pm in Church and
- Monday, June 6th - at 5:00 pm also in Church

Sunrise Senior Living of Westtown is looking for volunteers.

We Are Here To Help
St Maximillian Kolbe Parish has started a new Ministry by offering help to any parishioner unable to get to Mass or a doctor's appointment or any other need because of transportation.
In addition, we also have the ability to provide meals to anyone who is having a temporary problem providing meals for themselves because of sickness or while recovering from any surgery.

Men of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish are invited to join other parishioner men and the men from St. Cornelius Parish for this weekly program. The group meets every Wednesday morning at the St. Cornelius Parish Life Center beginning at 6:00 am for breakfast, followed by a presentation, and small group discussions. The program concludes at 7:15 am.

SESSION TIMES
**NEW TIME: Tuesdays Weekly - 5:00 - 6:15pm 9/13/22-5/19/23Levels K-7
Sundays are Bimonthly - 10:15-11:30 (2nd Sundays Month)
9/11/22-5/14/2023Levels 1-7
Sunday Monthly Class Format: Students will meet in person every other week. On off weeks, catechists are responsible for sending out a lesson and assignment that will be collected in the next in person class. Catechists will include ideas for parents for teaching the weekly lesson, activities that can be done at home, workbook pages, and video clips that may enhance the lesson. There is already a template in place for these home lessons.
IMPORTANT: Teaching time will be from 5:00 - 6:15pm for the Tuesday session and 10:15-11:30am for the Sunday sessions. Car line dismissal will begin NO earlier than 6:15pm for the Tuesday session and 11:45am am for the Sunday session.
2023 Confirmation Class
Calling All 6th Graders who attend private school and are planning to receive their confirmation at St. Max in 2023. Parents are asked to contact the PREP Office now at 610-399-9642 to register your child.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Unfortunately, we were unable to recruit enough volunteers to have a Vacation Bible School program here at St. Max. We will be combining with Saint Simon and Jude to offer VBS this year.
The program will be held June 20- June 24th .

Thank you for your desire and commitment to feed the hungry served at the St Agnes Day Room. As the weather turns colder, we are once again hoping to be able to serve a breakfast casserole or other hot breakfast food to our guests, as many weekdays as possible.
The Day Room is located at 233 W Gay St. West Chester and can be accessed from the free parking lot behind St Agnes Church. Breakfast should arrive at 9am, hot and ready to be served.

The Eucharistic Revival Begins June 19
The Bishops of the United States are calling for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that God wants to see a movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission “for the life of the world." The three-year Eucharistic Revival begins on June 19, 2022, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Click the link below to find out more:

Picnic and Pizza with the IHM Sisters

The IHM Sisters invite single young women ages 18-35 to join them for "Picnic and Pizza" on Friday, June10 (6:00-8:00 pm) at the Motherhouse of the IHM Sisters in Malvern, PA. This is a great opportunity for young women who are curious about religious life to spend a little time with the sisters in an informal setting. Come and enjoy a cookout dinner supper and s'mores with the sisters, then join us as we pray Night Prayer around the bonfire.

Join the Collegium Institute's Young Catholic Leaders Initiative for a three day summer seminar for high school students where we explore through lectures and seminars, tours and pilgrimages what it means to be true to yourself, true to your friends and family, and true to God both in the university and beyond. While much of the seminar will be grounded in first principles, it will also feature practical contemporary advice from alumni and current students of Ivy League universities and small liberal arts colleges on how to succeed in college. The seminar will conclude with a public lecture by Prof. Anna Moreland and Prof. Tom Smith on their upcoming book Majoring in Life: The College Guide to Adulting. :

GIVEN - Catholic Young Women's Leadership Forum June 21-25, 2022
This year, the GIVEN Forum, which usually takes place in Washington, DC, will be hosted here in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at Neumann University in Aston, PA. The GIVEN Forum is a five-day event designed to help young adult Catholic women (age 21-30) with a heart for mission and an aptitude for leadership identify their particular gifts and find practical pathways to put them in the service of the Gospel. Acceptance to a GIVEN cohort includes a year of one-on-one mentorship after the Forum, when women grow in leadership skills as they implement an Action Plan. An application, including the formulation of an Action Plan, must be submitted by February 18, 2022.
